It’s doubtful whether anyone interested in film in general – and in the spy genre specifically – missed out on the hit that was Kingsman (2014), which was released relier this year.  If you did however – or if you just want to relive the sheer fun which was probably the best secret agent film to be seen this side of the next Bond film, you will be glad to know that its DVD, Blu-ray and digital HD release is imminent.

With this is mind Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have released a number exclusiv video clips in which those behind writer / director Matthew Vaughn and writer Jane Goldman’s smash hit reveal the influences and experiences behind their work on the film.  As part of this we at Flickfeast can reveal exactly what Vaughn himself thinks of the spy genre in general and how it influenced Kingsman – feelings which may help explain why his film has been such a success.
